How to sort a collection based on the availability of specific sizes
Last updated August 27, 2025
How It Works
1. Go to Variant-Level Inventory Settings
Navigate to your Kimonix Settings page and scroll down to the Variant-Level Inventory section.

2. Configure an Option Set
Create an option set to define which variant you want to prioritize:
- Click the + (plus) button to add a new option set
- Select the variants from the list that are most important to your collection
- Set a minimum quantity — products with stock above this threshold for the selected variants will be boosted

3. Apply to a Collection
Once your option set is configured, apply it to any collection:
- Go to the collection's sort settings
- Add the Variant-Level Inventory sorter
- Select the option set you created

Products with sufficient stock in the selected variants will be pushed higher in the collection, while out-of-stock variants will be deprioritized.
Example
If you sell clothing and want to prioritize products that have sizes M and L in stock, create an option set for those sizes with a minimum quantity of 1. Products with M and L available will appear higher in the collection.
