Analytics Parameters Dictionary

Good to know:

• Analytics Parameters depend on the time period set in the app settings. Refer to the "Analytics Parameters Time Frame" article to learn how to change it.
• To find a specific parameter, use Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac).
• Each entry shows the Name, Description, Calculation method, and input guidance.

Smart Sorters & Filters

1. Tags (from Shopify) — Refers to the tags defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on tags. Input: Select from list.

2. SKUs (from Shopify) — Refers to the SKUs defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on SKUs. Input: Select from list.

3. Barcodes (from Shopify) — Refers to the Barcodes defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on barcodes. Input: Select from list.

4. Product type (from Shopify) — The product type according to Shopify admin. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on types. Input: Select from list.

5. Vendor (from Shopify) — Refers to the product's vendor as defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on vendors. Input: Select from list.

6. Title (from Shopify) — Refers to the product's title defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on titles. Input: Text. When using "contain" add "|" symbol between several.

7. Handle (from Shopify) — Refers to the handles defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on the handle. Input: Text. Add a comma (,) between several.

8. Product ID (from Shopify) — Refers to the product ID defined within Shopify. Calculation: You can include or exclude products based on Product ID. Input: Text. Add a comma (,) between several.

9. Created at — The date of when the product was created. Input: Date (e.g. 2022-04-03).

10. Published at — The date of when the product was last published. Input: Date (e.g. 2022-04-03).

11. Updated at — The date of when the product was last updated. Input: Date (e.g. 2022-04-03).

12. Back in stock at — The date when a product came back in stock. Calculation: Calculated when product went out of stock and was replenished after app install. Input: Date.

13. Restocked at — The date when the product's item quantity increased by 2+ items at once. Input: Date.

14. Days since created — The number of days since the product was created on Shopify. Calculation: Option to use Average and Median. Input: Number.

15. Days since updated — The number of days since the product was last updated in Shopify. Calculation: Option to use Average and Median. Input: Number.

16. Days since published — The number of days since the product was last published in Shopify. Calculation: Option to use Average and Median. Input: Number.

17. Days since back in stock — Days since the product went from zero stock to above zero. Calculation: Option to use Average and Median. Input: Number.

18. Days since Restocked — Days since the product's quantity increased by 2+ items at once. Calculation: Option to use Average and Median. Input: Number.

19. Price (variants' max) — The highest price among the product's variants. Calculation: Takes discounted prices as reference. Input: Number or Statistic.

20. Price (variants' min) — The lowest price among the product's variants. Calculation: Takes discounted prices as reference. Input: Number or Statistic.

21. Price (variants' avg) — The average price across all variants. Calculation: Takes discounted prices as reference. Input: Number or Statistic.

22. Discount — The discount on the price of a product. Calculation: [1 - Price / Compare at price]. Input: Fraction (e.g. 0.2 = 20%).

23. Cost — The cost of the product. Calculation: Must be set on Shopify admin. Input: Number or Statistic.

24. Inventory — The product's inventory count. Calculation: Sum of all variants' inventories. Input: Number or Statistic.

25. Variants number — The number of variants the product has. Calculation: Including out-of-stock variants. Input: Number or Statistic.

26. Variants with stock — Variants with inventory count above zero. Input: Number or Statistic.

27. Variants with stock ratio — Ratio of in-stock variants to total variants. Calculation: Variants with stock / Variants number. Input: Fraction (e.g. 0.4 = 40%).

28. Days to finish inventory — Days left for the product's inventory to run out. Calculation: Inventory / Daily sales. Input: Number or Statistic.

29. Inventory value — The monetary value of existing inventory. Calculation: Cost × Inventory. Input: Number or Statistic.

30. Margin — The margin in absolute numbers. Calculation: Price - Cost. Input: Number or Statistic.

31. Margin Multiplier — The margin multiplication of a product. Calculation: Price / Cost. Input: Number or Statistic.

32. Real Margin Multiplier — Actual margin after promotions and discount codes. Calculation: Sale / COGS. Input: Number or Statistic.

33. Daily sales — Items sold per day. Calculation: Sales quantity / Lookback period. Input: Number or Statistic.

34. Sales (money) — Sum of money received (after discounts) for items sold. Input: Number or Statistic.

35. Sales quantity — Number of items sold from the collection. Calculation: Includes historic data from Shopify. Input: Number or Statistic.

36. Conversion Rate — Times product appeared in orders / page views. Calculation: Appeared in orders / Page views. Input: Fraction.

37. Page views — Number of times the product page was viewed. Calculation: From app install only. Input: Number or Statistic.

38. List views — Times the product appeared in a collection view. Calculation: From app install only. Input: Number or Statistic.

39. List CTR — Click-through rate from collection to product page. Calculation: Views from collection / List views. Input: Fraction.

40. Adds to cart — Times a product was added to the cart. Calculation: From app install only. Input: Number or Statistic.

41. Reviews avg — Average rating based on product reviews. Calculation: Requires reviews integration. Input: Number or Statistic.

42. Reviews number — Number of reviews received. Calculation: Requires reviews integration. Input: Number or Statistic.

43. Appeared in orders — Times products viewed from collection appeared in orders. Calculation: Quantity >1 in same order counts as 1. Input: Number or Statistic.

44. Variants titles — Refers to the variant titles. Calculation: Include/exclude by variant title. Input: Text. Use "|" between several.

45. Weight — Refers to the product weight. Calculation: Must be set on Shopify admin. Input: Number.

46. Compare at price — The price before discount. Calculation: Empty if no discount applied. Input: Number.

47. Compare at price (variants min) — Price before discount, variants minimum. Calculation: Empty if no discount. Input: Number.

48. Compare at price (variants avg) — Price before discount, variants average. Calculation: Empty if no discount. Input: Number.

49. Inventory variants min — Inventory of the variant with the lowest amount. Input: Number.

50. Inventory variants avg — Average of all variants' inventory. Input: Number.

51. Inventory variants max — Inventory of the variant with the highest amount. Input: Number.

52. Raw inventory — Inventory count as-is, ignoring tracking settings. Input: Number.

53. Views from a collection — Product page views from collection page clicks only.

54. Gross Profit — Sales minus COGS. Calculation: Sales - COGS. Input: Number.

55. Gross item profit — Gross profit per product sold. Calculation: Gross profit / Sales quantity. Input: Number.

56. Cart to order drop — Products added to cart but not sold. Calculation: Adds to cart - Sales quantity. Input: Number.

57. Cart to order drop rate — Rate of dropped products. Calculation: Sales quantity / Adds to cart. Input: Fraction.

58. Cart to order conversion rate — Conversion rate from cart to order. Calculation: 1 - Cart to order drop rate. Input: Fraction.

59. Metafields — Metafields defined in Shopify. Calculation: Activate in app settings under Products' Metafields. Input: Text. Comma between several, "|" for contain.

60. Random — Randomize the product order. Calculation: Sorter only.

61. Tag/Vendor/Product Type - Score adjust — Boost specific tags, vendors, or product types. Calculation: Sorter only.

62. Profit — Total profit for all units sold. Calculation: Net sales - COGS. Input: Number or Statistic.

63. Item profit — Profit per product unit sold. Calculation: Profit / Sales quantity. Input: Number or Statistic.

64. Gross Item profit — Gross profit per item. Calculation: Gross profit / Sales quantity. Input: Number or Statistic.

65. Profit per list view — Profit gained per list view. Calculation: Profit / List views. Input: Number or Statistic.

66. Sales per item — Sales per product unit sold. Calculation: Sales / Sales quantity. Input: Number or Statistic.

67. Net Sales — Total net sales. Calculation: Sales - Taxes - Duties. Input: Number or Statistic.

68. Net sales per item — Net sales per unit sold. Calculation: Net sales / Sales quantity. Input: Number or Statistic.

69. Net sales per list view — Net sales per list view. Calculation: Net sales / List views. Input: Number or Statistic.

70. Variants options — Variant option sets (Size, Color) and values. Calculation: Filter/sort by variant options. Input: Select from list.

71. Discount variants max — Highest discount among variants. Input: Number or Statistic.

72. Discount variants min — Lowest discount among variants. Input: Number or Statistic.

73. Discount variants avg — Average discount across variants. Input: Number or Statistic.

74. Real Margin — How much profit per item sold. Calculation: Gross Profit / Sales Quantity. Input: Number or Statistic.

75. Vendor - Alphabetical — Vendor sorted alphabetically. Input: Number or Statistic.

76. Product Type - Alphabetical — Product type sorted alphabetically. Input: Number or Statistic.

77. COGS — Total cost of goods sold. Calculation: Sum of Cost × Sales quantity per variant. Input: Number or Statistic.

78. Location-based inventory — Filters by stock at a specific Shopify location. Calculation: Use format: min_qty@location_id. Input: e.g. 5@12345678.

Loop Returns Integration Parameters

These parameters are available when the Loop Returns integration is activated.

1. Returned items quantity — The count of items returned. Input: Number.

2. Returned money — Total value of returned items. Input: Number.

3. Returned weight grams — Combined weight of returned items in grams. Input: Number.

4. Days since last return — Days since the product was last returned. Input: Number.

5. Last return at — Date when product was last returned. Input: Date.

6. Returns rate — The returns rate of a product. Calculation: Returned items / Sales quantity. Input: Fraction (e.g. 0.2 = 20%).
