Getting Started with Kimonix Agentic Search

The KX AI Sales Agent is designed to set itself up: your app dashboard shows a short checklist, and every step has a button that takes you exactly where you need to go. This guide is just the map - the app itself does the guiding.

1. Activate the widget

From the dashboard checklist, press "Open theme editor" - it opens your theme editor with the Kimonix embed pre-selected. Press Save, and you're activated. Nothing is visible to shoppers yet: the dashboard gives you private preview links so you can try the agent on your own store first.

2. Turn it on for shoppers

Open Settings > Go live. Our recommended option is "Storefront search": press Apply, and our AI reads your theme, finds the search button your shoppers already use, and makes it open Kimonix Agentic Search. No theme code changes, one click to turn off, and you can try it on a draft theme first if you prefer.

Prefer something else (or want more)? The same page lets you enable a floating prompt bar, a floating chat bubble, and an "Ask AI" block for product pages.

3. Make it yours

The Configure tab covers the welcome message, quick prompts, featured products and collections, colors, and languages - with a live preview that updates as you type. Change something, watch the preview, press Save.
